All models are custom built to suit the width and length of the staircase and can usually be installed without the need for significant modifications. They fold away neatly when not in use and can be mounted on the wall or on posts. They have a minimal space requirement and have sensitive flaps at the front and rear of the platform so they will stop if they meet an obstruction. The units have emergency lowering in case of a power failure. A folding seat can be added so that the lift suits people in a wheelchair or those needing to sit.
All models can be installed externally.
